After three weeks work, we has a more accessible plan for our project. We will use 3D printer to build our customise cup to fit our Arduino Board and related components.

As EMS's stuff is too busy to get a response from them, we search for a 3D design software to support our project by ourselves. After a difficult exploration at the sea of 3D software, we found some courses of Rhino 6 which comparable 'friendly' software to customise the cup we need. We tried to build a rough model for the project which needs a tons of improvement.

We also test for the temperature-related dynamic LED on Arduino Board with support from tutor Emily. And fortunately, we the successfully made the LED works as we want.

Development of IDEA

As the original idea is about the human's feeling to natural, we planned to still work on the project of core of human life. An accidentally opportunity brings our imagination to the daily usage, which gave us a amount of inspiration. For example, the daily cup of tea, the pen of writing, the desk of working. We thought about providing a positive response to people whom used them through visual elements like LED light, Sound speaker, etc. This response we think could be a interesting point in people regular life, which takes some fun for workers, students.

Otherwise, we planned to provide various style of display style and functions to appropriate personal characters. A LED based on the temperature sensor could gave a dynamic transformation of temp, serve companied-like experience to individual workers through a funny visual design such as a weather display or a time reminder. It also could be a cup with sound speaker which could using a flash or multiple colours of LED to response to the music, or the people talking.

Meanwhile, we thought a lot about how to make it possible depend on the stuffs we have.

We think a several plan on how to display an interactive cup with LED.

And even we think about a base for tea cups in case the space is't enough for arrangement of Arduino Board.

But the core of our project has no change, which we still work on a cup people used often to brings people some interesting things to the busy life, especially in the busy London.

This time we <b>could</b> make a full-animation interact with the support of symbols. And it made me think further on interactive media such as the interactive ways, the visual design and elements arrangement. My mind went to another area to present a project that includes the movement, action and emotions of people. Using the response to help people to reflect the heart of life and the way to live, which might be a better way to bring us to think about the essential stuff in life. For example, to enjoy a hot coffee, to have a wander, to pick a colour for the day. A positive response could make people to think more about the happiness in the busy earning day.
